Fencing Course for Junior Beginners
|
Wimbledon Fencing Club trains juniors from age 10, and offers
them the opportunity to progress by fencing adults in the club as they
gain in experience.
The course is based on 5 levels of Club Achievement awards developed
by our senior club coach, Professor
John 'Jes' Smith.

Wednesday evenings from 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm (report at 7.15 pm)

Cost
|
£55.00 per course. This fee covers:
- the course (see dates above)
- use of equipment (see below)
- membership of the British Fencing Association (for personal insurance
cover)
Cheques must be payable to "Wimbledon Fencing Club".

Equipment
|
Foils, jackets, plastrons, gloves and masks will be provided; participants
should wear stretchy trousers (e.g. track suit), a short-sleeve T-shirt,
and trainers. It is also advisable for participants to bring their own
bottled drinking water.
